A Boothbay man who faces 10 counts of child pornography possession is back in jail after a recent arrest for allegedly violating his bail conditions.

Joseph F. Pinkham's bail conditions prohibit the possession or use of a computer or any device capable of Internet access.

Pinkham, 27, allegedly violated this condition by accessing the Internet in Rockland Feb. 11, according to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

Lincoln County Detective Scott Hayden arrested Pinkham at his home April 11 on a warrant from the Rockland Police Department. Pinkham remains in custody at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset.

A March 10 indictment charges Pinkham with 10 counts of Class C possession of sexually explicit materials, a felony, and three counts of Class D possession of sexually explicit materials, a misdemeanor.

The felony charges refer to materials that depict children under the age of 12, the misdemeanor charges to materials that depict children under the age of 16.

Pinkham's computer and cellphone were seized during an Oct. 11, 2013 search of his residence. The seizure resulted in the discovery of more than 200 sexually explicit images and videos of children, ages 2 to 12, according to a statement by Hayden.

The search was "the third time Pinkham has been found to be in possession of child pornography," Hayden said in the statement. The March 10 indictment charges Pinkham with possession in February 2012, March 2013 and October 2013.
