RSU 40/MSAD 40 Adult Education

Join everyone and welcome spring. One can also view, register and pay for spring classes at http://www.msad40.maineadulted.org. For more information or to register over the phone call 832-5205. Be sure to note class location.

A Taste of the Badger with Chef Michael Greer is held at Badger Café in Union on May 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. Chef Greer will uncover some of the secrets of popular Badger Café favorites. Learn how their fried chicken dinner is prepared, how to make a great coleslaw, and the recipe for the ever famous mac n' cheese. Bring an appetite and a willingness to learn. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the chef the night of the class. Fee: $15/$20 non-resident.

Outdoor Painting Workshops with Debra Arter meets Saturdays May 25, June 1 and June 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Bring a hat and paints (in the medium of one's choice) and join in outdoors to get experience painting Maine from life. The instructor will give a short demo each day of class. Bring a bag lunch to eat on the trail. A supply list will be mailed to students prior to class. Take one or all of the sessions offered. Fee for each individual session is $20/$25 non-resident, or fee for all three is $50/$55 non-resident. Class will meet at the Central Lincoln County Adult Education Office in Damariscotta and then head out to the outdoor class location each session.
