Riverside Lodge Masons Steve Flagg and Allan Roberts assemble a bike for the Lodge's 2012 Books for Bikes program.

Riverside Masonic Lodge, Jefferson, will be holding a lobster stew supper on Saturday, Nov. 9 to raise funds for their Bikes for Books program. The supper starts at 5 p.m. The cost is $9.

Last year, Riverside Lodge gave away 28 bicycles to K-8 students in Jefferson and Whitefield. Every time a student reads an age appropriate book, their name is put into a drawing.

Bikes were given away to Jefferson students in K-8 and to Whitefield students in grades K-4. Lodge members assemble the bikes at their meetings.

Riverside Lodge is located on Washington Road in Jefferson, near the Jefferson Village School.
