Local Veterans of Korea, Vietnam Look Back in New Book
Memorial Day and Veterans Day are the days set aside each year to honor the men and women who have served and died for their country to preserve the freedom enjoyed by all Americans. There is no better time to learn about Southport author Sarah Sherman McGrail, a daughter of a World War II veteran who has spent the last 20 years working to preserve the history of veterans of three wars, mostly from the Boothbay region.
