| GSB Robotics Team Preps For First Lego League Competition
The Great Salt Bay Community School Robotics Team invited the Lincoln Academy Climate Action Club to its Nov. 5 practice session. The GSB Robotics Team is preparing for the First Lego League competition that will take place in December.
First Lego League is a global program created to get kids excited about science and technology. Theme-based challenges are used to engage students in research, problem solving, and engineering.
The theme of this year's competition is "Climate Connections." Members of the Lincoln Academy Climate Action Club shared their experience creating no idle zones on the Lincoln Academy campus.
The two groups will work together to study idling cars at Great Salt Bay Community School, and to bring greater awareness to the impact of idling cars on the environment.
