The Commissioner is considering an application to renew for ten years to July 11, 2024, a 5.98 acre lease, DAM PPN, located northeast of Perkins Point, Damariscotta River, Newcastle, held by Norumbega Oysters, Inc. for the purposes of cultivating American and European oysters, surf/hen clams, blue sea mussels, and bay and sea scallops using bottom and suspended culture techniques.
The lessee would be bound by the terms and conditions of the existing lease. A public hearing is not required unless requested by five (5) or more interested persons. Written comments or requests for a hearing, including a statement of the reasons for the request, must be submitted on or before June 16, 2014 to the address below.

The Wiscasset Water District gives notice to the public that on June 18, 2014, at 6:00 pm at the Wiscasset Water District meeting room, 65 Birch Point Road, Wiscasset, Maine, a public hearing will be held to discuss and hear comments on a proposed rate increase.
Total revenues will increase by $87,877.14 (17.5%) to $590,432.29. Metered revenues will increase by $64,139.56 or 18.56%. Public fire protection revenues, determined pursuant to Chapter 69 of the Public Utilities Commission Rules, will increase by $23,737.58 or 18.09%. The rate increase is a result of rising operating and non-operating costs. The last rate increase was in 2011. Rates are to become effective on August 1, 2014.
Pursuant to 35-A MRSA Section (6104), a customer has the right to request additional information relating to the present and proposed rates from the Utility, the right to an open and fair hearing, and the right to assistance from the Public Advocate. Customers also have the right under 35-A MRSA Section (6104) to petition the Maine Public Utilities Commission to suspend and investigate the Utility's rates pursuant to 35-A MRSA Section 310, if, on or before July 18, 2014 (within 30 days of the public hearing date), 115 of the Utility's customers (15% of customers or 1000 customers, whichever is less) file with the District's Treasurer, Wiscasset, Maine and with the Public Utilities Commission, c/o Administrative Director, State House Station #18, Augusta, Maine 04333-0018, a petition or petitions demanding review by the PUC of the proposed rate changes. Signatures on the petition filed pursuant to Section 7 are invalid unless accompanied by the printed names and addresses of the signers. Upon request the District will provide customers with petition forms that include space for the signatures and the printed names and the addresses of the signers.
A copy of material supporting the proposed rate changes will be available at the Wiscasset Town Office and the Wiscasset Water District office for inspection on and after May 15, 2014. NOW, THEREFORE, by order of and in execution of said Judgment of Foreclosure and Sale, notice is hereby given that there will be sold at public sale on July 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at The First, N.A., 39 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, Maine, said real estate.

The mortgagee, The First, N.A., will sell the above-described premises to the highest bidder at said public sale and shall deliver a Quitclaim Deed Without Covenant to the purchaser.
