Lincoln County Sheriff's Report
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

Sept. 2, Lt. Rand Maker took a report of a theft in the Boothbay area. The complainant stated that someone had stolen a set of rear taillights from his 1964 Ford Falcon. He stated the approximate value of the taillights is about $600. Further investigation will follow as new information becomes available.

Wiscasset Police Report
Lt. John A. Allen reports for the Wiscasset Police Department for the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 6:

There were 57 incidents or requests for service - of these were: one theft, one animal problem, two alarms, one motorist assist, two harassments, one parking problem, six suspicious activity, one well-being check, three lost/found property, five traffic offenses (warnings), one citizen assist, four non reportable accidents, six agency assists, 18 property checks, one threatening and two business assists.

Waldoboro Police Report
The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:

Accidents
Aug. 23, Around 8:45 p.m., Abden Simmons, 39, of Waldoboro, was towing a boat behind a northbound 2003 Ford pickup truck on the Atlantic Highway when he lost the boat off his trailer. The boat landed in the road where it was struck by Walter Kenyon, 77, of Saxtons Rive Vt. Kenyon's 2005 Dodge van sustained $2500 damage. There were no injuries. Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated.
