Waldoboro Police Report

Waldoboro officers responded to 313 calls for service in this time period, and includes the following activity:

Investigations and complaints
Nov. 5, Officer Richard Alexander is investigating a report from Hoffman Collectibles that a male subject stole a hunting knife; is investigating a report from Mark's Appliance & Heating of the theft of 125-gallon propane tank. A $600 value.

Nov. 6, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report of a phone scam.

Nov. 7, Chief William Labombarde is investigating a report of the theft of a firearm.

Nov. 8, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report of a house break-in. Damage was done to the door, but nothing appears to be missing at this time.

Nov. 9, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report that approximately $50 worth of criminal mischief was done to a garage door.

Nov. 10, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of an anonymous threatening phone call.

Nov. 12, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of the theft of a 12-ft. aluminum boat and a sign.

Nov. 15, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report of threatening phone calls.

Nov. 15, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating an unwanted subject report.

Nov. 17, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating the reported theft of an 81 lb. splitting maul and a firearm.

Nov. 17, Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a report of a threatening text message.

Summonses and arrests
Nov. 2, Officer Thomas Hoepner summonsed a 15-year-old female for assault; and summonsed a 16-year-old male for minor possessing liquor.

Nov. 6, Officer Sean Kozer arrested Zachary Blackler, 20, of Waldoboro on a warrant.

Nov. 10, Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Robert Lipinsky, 58, of Waldoboro for criminal trespass and criminal threatening.

Nov. 11, Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Joseph Labelle, 44, of Whitefield for operating under the influence and refusing to sign a summons.

Nov. 12, Officer Thomas Hoepner summonsed a 12-year-old male for aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs.

Nov. 13, Officer Thomas Hoepner summonsed a 15-year-old female for possession of tobacco.

Nov. 14, Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Shawn Brewer, 30, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

Nov. 16, Officer Sean Kozer arrested Rebecca Debilla, 25, of Warren, on a warrant.

Nov. 16, Officer Sean Kozer arrested Robert Christ, 51, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.

Accidents
Nov. 6, Officer Sean Kozer investigated an accident on the Bremen Rd at 7:58 a.m. involving Robert Christ, 51, of Waldoboro, driving a 1989 Ford F250. Christ was traveling southbound on the Bremen Road when it went off the roadway to the right and struck a utility pole. No injuries.

Nov. 7, Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 5:27 p.m., involving Dana Dyer, 45, of Waldoboro, driving a 1997 Ford sedan. Dyer was traveling north on the Atlantic Highway when a deer ran across roadway and Dyer struck it. No injuries.

Nov. 9, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on the Winslows Mills Road at 10:57 a.m. involving Roger Brazier, 69, of Waldoboro, driving a 2001 Dodge pickup. Victoria Austin, 36, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2007 Pontiac sedan and attempted to pass Brazier while he was making a left turn into a driveway. Austin struck the rear passenger side. No injuries.

Nov. 16, While driving a 2007 Subaru, sedan on the North Nobleboro Road around 3:05 p.m., Christopher Hardy, 25, of Damariscotta, struck a 2002 Hyundai sedan, operated by Debbie Grotton, 51, of Jefferson, after Grotton pulled in front of Hardy's vehicle. Grotton admitted to being distracted. Hardy's Suburu came to rest on its roof, west of impact. Neither party was injured. Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated.
