Waldoboro Police Report

Waldoboro officers responded to 182 calls for service in this time period. Below are a few of the highlights.

The Waldoboro Police Department incorrectly reported the details of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot of the Medomak Valley High School on Manktown Road, March 5.

According to the corrected accident report, as Elizabeth Bianchi, 30, of Warren, was operating her 2008 Volkswagen sedan in parking lot, preparing to exit, Deborah Escorsio, 58, of Union, started to move her 2000 Buick sedan from a parked position and backed into the Bianchi vehicle, striking it the passenger side door. No injuries. Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated.

The Waldoboro Police Department apologizes for the error.

March 11, Officer Jeremy Joslyn summonsed Thomas Powell, 21, of Friendship for theft.

March 14, Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Keith Main, 34, of Waldoboro on a warrant.

March 14, Officer Bartunek summonsed Isaac Ward, 32, of Waldoboro for operating after suspension.

March 15, Officer Jeremy Joslyn summonsed Walter Brewer, 31, of Waldoboro for speed and insurance violation.

March 18, Officer Bartunek summonsed Gregory Henson, III, 17, of Rockland for speed and an insurance violation.

March 18, Officer Joslyn summonsed Sandra Ripley, 48, of Bremen for operating without a license.

March 19, Officer Joslyn arrested Adam Roberson, 30, of Thomaston for a violation of conditional release and operating after suspension.

March 13, Officer John Lash and Detective Jason Benefield are investigating a burglary complaint involving the alleged theft of approximately $6000 worth of items.

March 15, Officer Jeffery Fuller and Detective Benefield are investigating a report of criminal mischief and theft.

March 16, Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a harassment complaint. Subject was found and warned on harassment.

March 17, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a harassment complaint.

March 18, Detective Jason Benefield is investigating a complaint involving the alleged theft of medications.
