Wiscasset Police Report

Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline reports the following activities:

Arrests
March 23, Amy Lewis, 37, of Wiscasset, was arrested for violating conditions of release.

March 26, Aaron Ashton, 31, of Wiscasset, was arrested on five warrants: failure to pay fines for gross sexual assault; failure to pay fines for cultivating marijuana, criminal attempt, and violating conditions of release; failure to pay fines for failure to comply sexual offender registry act, third offense; failure to pay fines for failure to comply sexual offender registry act, second offense and violating conditions of release; failure to pay fines for assault.

Summonses
March 20, Sharon Phelan, 70, of Pittston, was summonsed for speeding on Bath Road.

Matthew Reed, 29, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for no inspection sticker.

March 21, Richard Sanford, 30, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for an expired inspection.

Melissa Bachelder, 29, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for an expired inspection.

William Gove Jr., 63, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for expired inspection, speeding in a school zone, and no insurance.

Ronnie Pisco, 62, of Jefferson, was summonsed for speeding on Bath Road, 43 in a 25.

Daniel Woodman, 47, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for expired inspection.

Nathaniel Hanley, 25, of Dresden, was summonsed for speeding on Birch Point Road.

Ryan Dipierro, 23, of Westport Island, was summonsed for expired inspection.

March 22, Stewart Gorden, 47, of Wiscasset, was issued a criminal summons for operating while license suspended or revoked.

Kristy Bryant, 39, of Jefferson, was summonsed for expired inspection.

Scott Colby, 42, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for speeding on Birch Point Road and no insurance.

March 23, Duane Fraser, 38, of Woolwich, was issued a criminal summons for operating without a license.

Christopher Chapman Jr., 21, of Winthrop, was summonsed for expired inspection and no insurance.

Accidents
March 20, Paul Burrill, of Pittsburg, N.H., was operating a 2006 Kenworth tractor with a 48-foot flatbed trailer in the parking lot of Irving-Mainway on Bath Road. Burrill pulled his vehicle to the left of the exit in preparation of a right turn onto Bath Road. Iman Poeraatmadja, 51, of Bowdoinham, operating a 2005 Volvo station wagon, pulled along the right side of the tractor-trailer, also with the intent of making a right turn. As Burrill turned his vehicle, the trailer scraped along the length of the Volvo. Poeraatmadja was found at fault for attempting to go around the tractor-trailer to the right. There were no injuries.

March 22, Mamie Reiss, 41, of Westport Island, operating a 2001 Volvo station wagon, was headed northbound on Bath Road and swung to the left before attempting a right turn into the parking lot of Shaw's Supermarket. Brent Scott, 31, of Woolwich, operating a 2004 Jeep, claimed Reiss had her left turn signal on and attempted to pass her on right. Scott's vehicle struck the passenger side of Reiss' vehicle. Reiss claimed she had not put on her left turn signal. The accident is under investigation. There were no injuries.
