Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Citizens and visitors of Lincoln County are encouraged to report on-going traffic complaints, such as speeding vehicles to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. To report an on-going traffic problem, please contact Sgt. Jason Nein at 882-7332 or by email at email@example.com.
The complaint information will be compiled and assigned for targeted enforcement efforts by deputies. Please provide information such as days of the week, times of the day, vehicle descriptions and the behavior one is concerned about.
On April 26, Deputy Brian Collamore was dispatched to a reported theft/burglary in the Edgecomb area. The complainant stated stolen items include a Husqvarna chain saw - model 346XP, value: $500; a hand wood splitter - brand: Friskers, value: $50; Peavey brand log-roller, value: $50 and a maul - value: $30.

April 25, Amy D. Malburg, 41, of Whitefield, was issued a summons for failure to report an accident involving property damage, on Howe Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
April 26, Eric S. Turner, 28, of Newcastle, was arrested for failure to register or update information, on Jones Woods Road, Newcastle, by Detective Ronald Rollins.
April 26, Christina Doray, 32, of Wiscasset, was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating condition of release, on Heath Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

April 23, Stephen Gottlieb, 49, of Boothbay, speeding 79 mph in a posted 55 mph speed zone; failure to show proof of insurance, Dresden, Maj. Ken Mason.
Lorna Richardson, 60, of Belfast, failure to show proof of insurance, South Bristol, Dep. Todd Chilton.
April 25, Amy Malburg, 41, of Whitefield, failure to display an inspection sticker, Whitefield, Deputy Kevin Dennison.
April 26, Kathryn Williams, 24, of Newcastle, operator failing to use a seatbelt, Newcastle, Sgt. Jason Nein.
April 27, Derek Juchnik, 21, of Newcastle, failing to register a motor vehicle (expired 30 to 150 days), Nobleboro, Deputy Brian Collamore.
On April 23, an accident occurred on Rt. 1 in Nobleboro involving James C. Ezzell, 32, of Wiscasset, operating a 2005 Nissan Sentra northbound when a deer entered the roadway and was unable to avoid striking the deer, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On April 26, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Glenn T. Jacobs, 70, of Dresden. Jacobs was operating his 2010 Buick Lacrosse when he observed a deer enter the roadway from the westbound ditch and struck it. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On April 27, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Derek Juchnik, 20, of Newcastle and Marla Lanphier, 58, of Washington. Lanphier was stopped in her 2006 Toyota Camry at the stop sign at the end of East Pond Road waiting for traffic to clear before pulling onto Rt. 1. Juchnik, who was operating his 2004 Jeep Wrangler, came up behind her vehicle and struck the rear bumper, causing some minor damage to the bumper cover. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
