Damariscotta Police Report

The Damariscotta Police Damariscotta Police Department responded to 156 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time and report the following activities from the previous week:

Arrests/Summonses
April 24, Brooke D. Cotter, 39 of Damariscotta was summoned to court for operating after suspension and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

April 27, Laurie A. Preston, 47 of Bristol was arrested for operating under the influence and attaching false plates.

Accidents
April 24, Deputy Chief Chad Andrews responded to Hodgdon Street for a two vehicle accident involving Brooke D. Cotter, 39 of Damariscotta who was operating a 1997 Ford and Skylar R. Carroll, 19 of Waldoboro who was operating a 2002 Subaru. Cotter was backing out of a driveway and struck the rear quarter panel of Carroll's legally parked vehicle.

April 25, Deputy Chief Andrews responded to Main Street for a two vehicle motor vehicle accident involving Carol E. Howe, 89 of Boothbay Harbor who was operating a 2001 Subaru and Craig H. Dickey, 20 of Natick, Mass. Howe was pulling out of a parking lot into traffic and failed to see Dickey headed northbound. Howe failed to yield and struck the driver's side of Dickey's vehicle.

April 23, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to Phillips Power Products for a reported burglar alarm.

April 23, Officer Polizzotti responded to Pond Circle on a report of a domestic disturbance.

April 23, Officer Polizzotti responded, along with CLC Ambulance, to Ash Lane on a report of a medical emergency.

April 24, Officer Polizzotti responded to Miles Memorial Hospital on a report of an unwanted subject.

April 24, Officer Polizzotti responded to Barstow Road on a report of suspicious activity.

April 24, Deputy Chief Andrews responded to a local business on a report of a burglary.

April 24, Officer Polizzotti responded to Pond Circle on a report of a domestic disturbance.

April 25, Deputy Chief Andrews responded to Lewis Point Road, along with CLC Ambulance, for a medical emergency.
