Damariscotta Police Report

Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:

Complaints and investigations
May 15, Officer Jason Warlick took a complaint of harassment; took a complaint of a theft; took a complaint of a dog left in a motor vehicle with all the windows rolled up; assisted a citizen with questions they had.

May 16, Officer Jason Warlick took a report of trash being dumped on someone's property; assisted a citizen who was having trouble getting her child to go to school; took a complaint of harassment; responded to a local bank on a report of a burglar alarm; assisted Miles Memorial Hospital with a LifeFlight; and took a report of a theft.

Deputy Chief, Chad Andrews responded to Shamrock Lane to conduct a 911 check; conducted a pedestrian check; responded to an erratic operation; and responded to Rocky Run Road on a report of suspicious activity.

May 17, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to Rt. 1 on a report of an erratic operation.

May 18, Officer Scott Sutter responded to Rt. 1 on a report of an erratic operation.

Arrests and summonses
May 16, John H. Morris, 89 of Bremen, was summoned to court for passing a stopped school bus.

May 17, A juvenile was summoned for possession of marijuana.

Accidents
May 15, Officer Jason Warlick took a late report of a motor vehicle accident that happened in the Hannaford Parking Lot involving Geraldine Genthner, 69 of Damariscotta.

May 18, Officer Devin Polizzotti took a report of harassment; took a complaint that turned out to be civil; took possession of found property.

May 19, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to Damariscotta Dialysis on a report of a burglar alarm.

May 20, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded, along with CLC Ambulance, to Salt Bay Drive on a report of a medical emergency; responded to Back Meadow Lane, along with CLC Ambulance, to a medical emergency; and responded to Lessner Road on a report of an animal complaint.

May 21, Officer Jason Warlick took a report of a theft; and conducted a speed detail on the Bristol Road.

Deputy Chief, Chad Andrews took a report of lost property.

May 18, Officer Scott Sutter responded to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of Young 'Uns involving Michelle R. Beaulieu, 26, of Damariscotta, whose 1998 Jeep was parked and backed into by an unknown vehicle who backed out of a parking spot and struck the right front corner of Beaulieu's vehicle.

May 20, Officer Jason Warlick responded to Hannaford for a motor vehicle accident involving Melissa M. LeGault, 40, of Bristol, who was operating a 2002 Mitsubishi and Isaiah Onorato, 30, who was operating a 2003 Chevrolet.

Damariscotta Police Department responded to 124 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc., during this one week period of time.
