Waldoboro Police Report

Chief William Labombarde reports Waldoboro officers responded to 212 calls for service in this time period and includes the following:

Complaints and investigations
May 15, Chief William Labombarde is investigating a harassment complaint from Dawn O'Brien.

Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a criminal mischief complaint of damage done to a motor vehicle in the parking lot at Medomak Valley High School.

May 18, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from Dunkin' Donuts of criminal mischief to their parking lot; and is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $33 gas drive off.

May 19, Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $54.89 gas drive off.

May 20, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of the theft of gasoline.

Arrests and summonses
May 13, Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Deborah Winchenbach, 52, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

May 14, Officer Thomas Hoepner summoned one 13-year-old juvenile and two 14-year-old male juveniles for assault; and summoned a 17-year-old female juvenile for assault.

Officer Jeremy Joslyn summoned Josephine Patterson, 31, of Rockport, for speed and being uninsured.

Officer John Lash summoned Dalton Reed, 16, of Warren, for carrying a passenger beyond interim license restriction.

May 16, Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Shawn Day, 19, of Nobleboro, for a violation of conditional release; and arrested Courtney Flint, 20, of Nobleboro, for unlawful possession of scheduled drug, violation of condition of release, and a warrant.

May 17, Officer John Lash summonsed Robert Pellegrino, 56, of Connecticut, for speed.

May 18, Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Earl Leathers, 27, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault.

May 24, Detective Jason Benefield summoned Mary Sidelinger, 56, of Waldoboro, for negotiating a worthless instrument.

May 13, Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident at 4:37 p.m. at the Jefferson Street/Atlantic Highway intersection. Paul Ward, Jr., 19, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1995 Ford sedan. Linda Bonenfant, 59, of Warren, was driving a 2000 Buick sedan. Bonenfant was traveling south on Atlantic Highway. Ward was stopped at the intersection of Atlantic Highway/Jefferson Street and attempted to cross the intersection. Ward failed to see Bonenfant who struck Ward in passenger side. No injuries.

May 13, Officer Jeremy Joslyn investigated an accident on the Friendship Road at 8:48 p.m. Mary Genthner, 63, of Friendship, was driving a 2001 Pontiac, sedan. No injuries. Genthner was traveling south on the Friendship Road, when a deer came out into the roadway, and Genthner struck the deer.

May 19, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident at the Main Street/Kaler's Corner intersection at 10:04 a.m. Leroy Turner, 71, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2010 Dodge pickup. Donald Parsons, 59, of Massachusetts, was driving a 2013 Honda sedan. Parsons failed to yield the right of way pulling out in front of Turner, causing the vehicles to collide. No injuries.
