Wiscasset Police Report

The Wiscasset Police report the following activities from the previous week:

Arrests/Summonses
On Aug. 12 Randolph Dodge, 43, of Burnham was arrested on a warrant for violating conditions of release for a domestic violence charge.

On Aug. 12 Michael Gough, 52, of Winslow was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.

On Aug. 13 William Diemer, 30, of Bath was issued a summons for an inspection which expired in December 2012.

On Aug. 13, Gary King, 50, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for an expired registration and expired inspection.

On Aug. 13 Travis Benner, 33, of Alna was issued a summons for operating after suspension.

On Aug. 14 Stephan Widmer, 62, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for no inspection sticker.

On Aug. 14 Bonnie Kanavich, 65, of Whitefield was issued a summons for speeding, 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Bath Road.

On Aug. 14 Ernest Mallet, 75, of East Boothbay was issued a summons for evasion of registration fees and excise taxes.

On Aug. 15 Amber Green, 25, of Bath was issued a summons for failure to register (more than 150 days), no insurance and expired inspection.

On Aug. 15 Tina Pinkham, 41, of Wiscasset was arrested for a domestic violence assault.

On Aug. 15 Roy Hudson, 63, of Round Pond was issued a summons for failure to appear in court on a failure to register vehicle summons.

On Aug. 15 Zachary Lyons, 20, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for an expired inspection.

On Aug. 17 Rebecca Sugden, 37, of Vassalboro was issued a summons for speeding, 51 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Federal Street.

On Aug. 17 Charles Koehling, 48, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for speeding, 41 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Federal Street.

On Aug. 18 Elsie Cowing, 23, of Wiscasset received a criminal summons for failure to make a written accident report.

On Aug. 19 Kathleen Post, 51, of Spruce Head was issued a summons for speeding, 65 mph in a 45 mph zone, on Bath Road.

On Aug. 19, Frederick Eccleston, 60, of Medford Lakes, N.J. was issued a summons for towing an unregistered trailer.

On Aug. 20 Merle Gile, 72, of was issued a summons for failure to stop at the intersection of Route 1 and Gardiner Road.

On Aug. 20 James King Jr., 39, of East Wilton was issued a summons for failure to stop at the stop sign of Route 1 and Gardiner Road.

On Aug. 20 Steven Jones, 63, of Newcastle was issued a summons for operating with studded tires out of season.

On Aug. 20 Kristian Flanagan III, 21, of Bath was issued a summons for an inspection which expired January of 2013

On Aug. 20 Jay Lewis, 51, of Trevett was issued a summons for an inspection which expired March 2013.

On Aug. 20 Mark Verrill, 44, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for speeding, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, on Birch Point Road

Accidents
On Aug. 17 an accident occurred on Bath Road involving Kathy Orne, 55, of Edgecomb and Lelia Hawke. Orne, driving a 2006 Chevy SUV, was stopped to pull out of the Irving parking lot but decided to back up because she felt her vehicle was sticking too far out in the roadway. She backed into Hawke, who was driving a 2004 Volkswagen passenger car.

On Aug. 19 an accident occurred on Bath Road involving Kevin Decker, 27, of Edgecomb. Decker, driving a 2003 Volkswagen, attempted a left hand turn into the McDonald's parking lot when his brakes locked up and caused him to hit the curb.
