Damariscotta Police Report

Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:

Arrests and summonses
Sept. 19, Steven S. Sidelinger, 29, of Bristol, was summoned for operating with an expired license.

Paul Dumdey, 73, of Woolwich, was summoned to court for passing a stopped school bus.

Sept. 20, Melissa L. Simmons, 49, of Bremen, was summoned for speeding 58 mph in a 45 mph zone on the Biscay Road.

Sept. 21, George P. Browske, 73, of Longboat Key, Fla., was summoned for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Bristol Road.

Sept. 22, Benjamin M. Dubord, 17, of Nobleboro, was summoned for speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on Rt. 1.

Sept. 23, Matthew P. Bolster, 17, of South Bristol, was summoned for speeding 57 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street.

Complaints
Sept. 17, Chief Ron Young responded to the Municipal Parking Lot on a report of suspicious activity.

Deputy Chief Chad Andrews responded, along with CLC Ambulance, to Keene Woods Road on a report of a medical emergency.

Officer Devin Polizzotti conducted a speed detail on Bristol Road; responded, along with the Damariscotta Fire Department to Savory Maine on a report of a possible electrical fire.

Sept. 18, Officer Jason Warlick conducted a speed detail on Bristol Road.

Chief Ron Young and Officer Jason Warlick responded, along with CLC Ambulance, to Abbie Lane on a report of a medical emergency.

Chief Ron Young responded to a report of an erratic operation.

Officer Jason Warlick conducted a speed detail on Bristol Road; responded to a report of an erratic operation; took a report of a theft from a local business; took a report of a juvenile problem at Ledgewood Court; conducted a speed detail on Bristol Road; took a report of lost property.

Sept. 19, Officer Jason Warlick took possession of found property. He was able to locate the owner and return the property; responded to a report of a gas drive off; and conducted a speed detail on Church Street.

Officer James Read responded to a report of an erratic operation; and to a local business on a report of a burglar alarm.

Sept. 20, Officer Jason Warlick assisted a citizen with questions; assisted a citizen with a trespass issue; conducted a speed detail on Bristol Road; responded to a report of suspicious activity on Branch Road.

Deputy Chief Chad Andrews took possession of found property.

Sept. 21, Officer Jacob Grinnell responded to a report of an erratic operation.

Officer Jason Warlick took a report of an automobile theft on Main Street; responded to a domestic disturbance at Ledgewood Court; responded to Hodgdon Street on a loud noise complaint; responded to Church Street on a loud noise complaint.

Accidents
Sept. 17, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to McDonalds on a report of a two vehicle accident involving Michelle R. Beaulieu, 27, of Damariscotta, who was operating a 1996 Jeep and a black Chevy Truck that left the scene of the accident.

Sept. 22, Officer Jason Warlick conducted a pedestrian check on Main Street.

Officer Mark Graham responded to a business on Biscay Road on a report of a burglar alarm.

Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to Egypt Road on a report of a juvenile problem; and responded to Rt. 1 on a report of an erratic operation.

Sept. 23, Deputy Chief Chad Andrews responded to Elm Street on a report of suspicious activity; conducted a speed detail on Church Street; responded to the Municipal Parking Lot on a report of a road rage incident. The operator was warned for disorderly conduct. Deputy Chief Chad Andrews took a report of lost property.

Damariscotta Police Department responded to 172 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, and more, during this one week period of time.
