Waldoboro Police report

Waldoboro officers responded to 155 calls for service in this time period. Below are a few of the highlights.

Complaint and investigations
Nov. 5, Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report of a possible Internet scam.

Nov. 5, Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $52.23 gasoline drive off.

Nov. 6, Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Friendship Street Headstart that someone damaged a window with a BB gun; $300 damage done.

Nov. 9, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated a report from Maritime Farms of a gasoline drive off. The subject was located and returned to pay for gasoline.

Nov. 11, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from Moody's Diner that someone did donuts in parking lot the previous night.

Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $42.57 gasoline drive off.

Arrests and summonses
Nov. 9, Officer John Lash arrested Todd Morales, 41, of Warren for operating after suspension.

Accidents
Nov. 8, Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident at the Wagner Bridge Road/Reef Road intersection. Donald Reilly, 50, of China, was driving a 2004 Ford, cargo van. Carl Nickles, 55, of Union, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet truck. No injuries. Reilly was traveling east on the Wagner Bridge Road and Nickles was making a right turn off the Reef Road. Nickles failed to stop at the stop sign and made a wide turn off Reef Road, hitting Reilly on the driver side rear quarter.

Nov. 12, Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated an accident at the Medomak Valley High School parking lot. Gabriel Cooley, 16, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1999 GMC pickup. Cody Prock, 16, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet sedan. Cooley and Prock were in the student parking area at Medomak Valley High School. Cooley stopped and began to back into a parking spot. Prock did not see Cooley starting to back and attempted to drive by Cooley from behind. Cooley backed into Prock. No injuries.
