Wiscasset Police report

Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline reports the following summonses, arrests and accidents:

Arrests and summonses
On Nov. 16, Cecil P. Ryder, 40, of Wiscasset, was arrested for misuse of the E-9-1-1 system.

On Nov. 14, Justin Kramley, 25, of Wiscasset, received a summons for no inspection sticker.

On Nov. 16, Gert Buechler, 66, of Wiscasset, received a summons for operating left of center line.

Accidents
On Nov. 14, an accident occurred on Old Ferry Road involving John Larose, 38, of Woolwich. Larose, operating a 2000 Dodge van, pulled out of a driveway and spun around in the road. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a small tree before becoming stuck in the mud.

On Nov. 14, an accident occurred on Bath Road involving Stephen McClure, 34, of Hartford, Conn. McClure, operating a 2010 Chevrolet pick-up truck was traveling north on Bath Road when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle.

On Nov. 16, an accident occurred on Bath Road involving Gert Buechler, 66, of Wiscasset. Buechler, operating a 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck, was traveling north on Bath Road when he crossed the centerline, nearly striking another vehicle before going into a ditch. According to the police report, Buechler admitted to having fallen asleep.
