Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

Recent summonses
Dec. 21, Cody J. Schooley, 19, of Edgecomb was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by a minor, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

Dec. 24, Kassandra A. Tripp, 31, of Whitefield was issued a summons for theft by receiving stolen property, on Hunts Meadow Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

Dec. 28, Lacy J. Newell, 28, was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

Recent arrests
Dec. 20, Donald M. Benner, 25, of South Bristol was arrested for violating condition of release, at the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Wiscasset, by Det. Scott Hayden.

Dec. 21, Brandyn Lawton-Prindall, 21, of Edgecomb was arrested for furnishing a place for minors to consume/possess alcohol, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

Dec. 22, Richard C. Staples, 30, of Whitefield was arrested for aggravated assault and obstructing report of crime, on Alna Road, Alna, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.

Dec. 23, Mark Martin, 50, of Jefferson was arrested for operating under the influence, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

Dec. 23, Michelle R. Etheridge, 30, of Bristol was arrested on two warrants, one out of Rockland Superior Court for violation of bail and one out of Wiscasset District Court for failure to pay fines, at the Waldoboro Police Department, by Transport Deputy James Read.

Dec. 25, Kyle M. Gornto, 21, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for domestic violence assault and terrorizing, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus who was assisted by Deputy Justin Drake.

Dec. 26, Alan Green, 43, of Wiscasset was arrested on an Augusta District Court warrant for failure to appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy James Read.

Dec. 27, Brandyn A. Lawton-Prindall, 21, of Edgecomb was arrested for violating condition of release and possession of marijuana, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

Dec. 29, Justin S. Buker, 24, of Dresden was arrested for domestic violence assault, on Alexander Road, Dresden, by Deputy Brian Collamore who was assisted by Reserve Deputy Mark Walsh.

Recent accidents
On Dec. 22, an accident occurred on Route 32 in Bristol involving Donald A. Burns, 55, of Round Pond. Burns was operating his 2008 Chevrolet on the icy road when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the roadway on the right hand side and struck a tree. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 23, an accident occurred on Hunts Meadow Road in Whitefield involving Billie Jo L. Lilly, 28, of Windsor. Lilly was operating her 2007 Jeep Liberty on Hunts Meadow Road when a branch fell from a tree above her vehicle, went through her windshield and struck her. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 23, an accident occurred on River Road in Dresden involving Mark McKelvey, 46, of Dresden. McKelvey was operating his 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound and was operating too fast for the road conditions when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and traveled down over an embankment and struck a small tree. Major Ken Mason was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 23, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Roy D. Little, 24, of Presque Isle. Little was operating his 1999 Dodge Ram when, due to the icy road conditions, he lost control of his vehicle on an incline and went off the roadway. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 26, an accident occurred on Hinks Road in Jefferson involving John E. Potter, III, 17, of Jefferson. Potter was operating his 2007 Ford F-250 westbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow/ice covered roadway. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 26, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Travis Creamer, 17, of Damariscotta. Creamer was operating his 2004 Chevrolet 1500 southbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered roadway. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 26, an accident occurred on Head Tide Road in Alna involving Mark E. Crummett, 43, of Newcastle. Crummett was operating his 2005 Chevrolet 2500 southbound when a deer ran out of a wooded area and was struck. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 26, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Jason A. Gray, 32, of Richmond. Gray was operating his 1998 Buick Regal northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered roadway. As a result, his vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 26, an accident occurred on Sheepscot Road in Newcastle involving Derek F. Juchnik, 21, of Newcastle. Juchnik was operating his 2004 Jeep Wrangler westbound and stated that as he approached the intersection of Lewis Hill Road, he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered shoulder. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Deputy Aaron Beck was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 27, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Gregory A. Graham, 37, of Waterville. Graham was operating his 2003 Pontiac Bonneville when he lost control of his vehicle and began to spin, causing his vehicle to ultimately strike a tree on the opposite side of the road. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 28, an accident occurred on West Alna Road in Alna involving Alisa M. Wallace, 47, of Alna. Wallace was operating her 1998 Jeep Cherokee northbound when she lost control of her vehicle while proceeding downgrade on the snowy, but sanded roadway. As a result, her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and rolled over onto its passenger side before coming to rest facing southbound. Reserve Deputy Mark Walsh was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 28, an accident occurred on Washington Road in Jefferson involving Joyce E. McLaughlin, 51, of Waldoboro and Samantha C. Scofield, 15, of Jefferson. Scofield was operating her 2013 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on Valley Road, approaching the Washington Road intersection and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection. McLaughlin was operating her 2000 Toyota RAV4 westbound on Washington Road towards the Valley Road intersection. Scofield began a left hand turn onto Washington Road, into the path of McLaughlin's oncoming vehicle. McLaughlin subsequently struck the driver's side of Scofield's vehicle. Reserve Deputy Mark Walsh was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 29, an accident occurred on Stonebridge Circle in Newcastle involving Joshua H. Cross, 19, of Bremen. Cross was operating his 1995 Honda Accord when he lost control of his vehicle on snow on the edge of the road which caused him to lose control, go into a skid and strike a utility pole. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 29, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Hattie A. Richards, 51, of Edgecomb. Richards was operating her 2004 Subaru Forester southbound when she attempted to turn right onto the River Road, however, she slid on the snow covered roadway. As a result, her vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest in a ditch. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
