Lincoln County Sheriff's Report

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

On Feb. 5, Deputy Mark Bridgham responded to a report of a theft of gasoline ($60) from a motor vehicle in the Whitefield area. Further investigation to follow if leads develop.

On Feb. 5, Deputy Mark Bridgham was dispatched to a report of a burglary/theft and criminal mischief in the Whitefield area. The case is under investigation.

Recent summonses
Feb. 6, Lee A. Patterson, 21, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for criminal mischief, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Feb. 8, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Southport Island was issued a summons for allowing minor to possess or consume liquor, by Sgt. Brendan Kane.

Recent arrests
Feb. 4, Ronald G. Fuller, 63, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested on two arrest warrants out of Sagadahoc County, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

Feb. 7, Anthony Gelormine, 41, of Oklahoma City, Okla. was arrested for domestic violence assault, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Feb. 9, Dustin R. Dalton, 30, of Dresden was arrested on an active warrant from West Bath District Court for unpaid fines, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

Feb. 9, Asa J. Lucier, 21, of Boothbay was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, on Town Landing Road, Southport Island, by Sgt. Brendan Kane.

Feb. 9, Mathew Tedford, 22, of Edgecomb was arrested for violating condition of release, on Town Landing Road, Southport Island, by Sgt. Brendan Kane.

Feb. 9, Jennifer J. Rosa, 35, of Bremen was arrested for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (x2); violating condition of release and possession of marijuana, on State Route 32, Round Pond, by Deputy Jared Mitkus, who was assisted by Sgt. Matthew Day.

Recent accidents
On Feb. 4, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Robert N. Prior, 59, of Damariscotta and Donald J. Michaud, 73, of Winslow. Prior was operating his 1994 GMC Kodiak on Route 1 and Michaud was entering Route 1 in his 2004 Buick Park Avenue from Mike's Place when Prior struck Michaud's vehicle. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 8, an accident occurred on Benner Lane in Whitefield involving Judith H. Robbins, 69, of Whitefield. Robbins was operating her 2002 Subaru Legacy southbound on the snow covered but lightly sanded roadway, when she hit a rut in the road and lost control of her vehicle. As a result, her vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Reserve Deputy Mark Walsh was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 9, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Tyler A. Stevens, 16, of New Harbor. Stevens was operating his 2002 Subaru Legacy southbound and was traveling too fast for the road conditions. When he applied his brakes, he over corrected, lost control of his vehicle, and struck a traffic sign causing damage to the driver's side of his vehicle. Deputy Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 10, an accident occurred on Jefferson Road in Whitefield involving John E. Stevens, 61, of Whitefield. Stevens was operating his 2006 Mitsubishi Raider southbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered roadway. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a tree, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
