Wiscasset Police Report
Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline reports the following arrests, summonses and accidents:
Arrests and summonsesOn Feb. 3 Jason W. Castonia, Sr., 37, of Edgecomb, was issued a summons for no inspection sticker.
Sean P. Smith, 31, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for speeding, 41 mph in a 25 mph zone.
On Feb. 5, Joseph A. Greenleaf, 23, of Wiscasset, was arrested for operating after licenses suspension for an OUI.
On Feb. 6, Matthew R. Reed, 30, of Wiscasset, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for unpaid restitution.
Marie P. Russell, 23, of Rumford, was issued a summons for a stop sign violation.
Amber L. Rountree, 29, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for a seat belt violation.
On Feb. 8, David J. Neptune, 45, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for an expired inspection sticker.
James Kary, 36, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for no inspection sticker.
On Feb. 9 Kyle Bean, 21, of Georgetown, was issued a summons for an expired inspection sticker.
Timothy D. Irons, 31, of Woolwich, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
AccidentsOn Feb. 2, Jon Konarad, 41, of Needham, Mass., was operating a 2007 Chevrolet SUV and drove past the drive-through window at Dunkin' Donuts and then opened his door to back up to the window. The open door hit the glass window at the drive-up breaking the glass.
On Feb. 5 an accident occurred at the intersections of Old Ferry Road, Ready Point Road and Route 144 involving Robert Mooney, 59, of Westport Island. Mooney, operating a Toyota pickup, was traveling east on snow covered roads. He lost traction and went off roadway left, re-entered the roadway and crossed the centerline, then exited the roadway left. He missed a utility pole, but snapped the guide wire and impacted into a large pine tree before coming to rest.
