Waldoboro Police Report

Waldoboro officer's responded to 162 calls for service in this time period. Below are a few of the highlights.

Arrests/summonses
April 14, Earl Libby, 25, of Newcastle, was issued a summons for operating an uninspected motor vehicle and expired insurance.

April 16, Christena Dow, 35, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons for failure to show proof of insurance.

April 18, Nicholas Hatch, 24, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons for operating an uninspected motor vehicle.

Accident
Around 4:38 p.m., Christena Dow, 35, of Waldoboro, driving a 2000 Jeep utility vehicle, had stopped at intersection of Atlantic Highway and Depot Street. She was attempting to cross the Atlantic Highway, and failed to see a southbound 2009 Nissan utility vehicle, operated by Krystal Gamage, 32, of Thomaston. Gamage's vehicle struck the driver's side of Dow's Jeep. No injuries. Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated.

Complaints
April 14, Officer John Lash is investigating a report of criminal threatening.

April 15, Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report of stolen chickens.

April 18, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from the Maritime Farms of the theft of $21 worth of kerosene.

April 19, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of criminal mischief to the ball field at Medomak Valley High School.

April 19, Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $28 gasoline drive off.
