Damariscotta Police Report

The Damariscotta Police Department responded to 133 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time and reports the following activity:

April 30, Matthew J. Kinney, 30, of Bremen, was arrested on a warrant by Officer Jason Warlick.

May 2, Priscilla H. House, of South Bristol, was summoned for speeding.

May 5, Michael G. Walker-Welsh, 28, of Damariscotta, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license.

April 29, Officer Jason Warlick responded to a report of an erratic operation and assisted Cove's Edge with getting a subject to leave. Deputy Chief Chad Andrews responded to a local bank on a report of a burglar alarm.

April 30, Chief Ron Young responded to Bristol Road on a report of suspicious activity. Officer Warlick took possession of found property.

May 1, Officer Warlick took separate reports of harassment and theft and investigated separate reports of an erratic operation. He also responded to Church Street on a report of an unwanted subject and removed the subject. Deputy Chief Andrews escorted a patient home from LincolnHealth - Miles Campus.

May 2, Officer Warlick took a report of a theft; took possession of found property; responded to a report of an erratic operation, and responded to Main Street on a report of a parking problem. Officer John Sylvester responded to South Road on a loud noise complaint and responded to LincolnHealth - Miles Campus on a report of an unwanted subject.

May 3, Deputy Chief Andrews escorted a subject to their home. Officer Mark Graham responded to Main Street to conduct a pedestrian check. Officer Sylvester took a report of harassment and responded to a local bank on a report of a burglar alarm. It was tripped in error. Parking Enforcement Officer John Mitkus assisted CLC YMCA with their Healthy Kids Day.

May 4, Officer Michael Elwell responded to U.S. Route 1 on a report of an erratic operation. Officers Sylvester and Devin Polizzotti assisted the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office with a motor vehicle accident.

May 5, Chief Young took possession of found property, and responded to Elm Street on a report of an animal complaint. Chief Young and Officer Warlick responded to Jackie's Trail on a report of harassment. Officer Warlick responded to Full Circle Family Medicine, along with CLC Ambulance, on a report of a medical emergency.

Officer Warlick also took a report of a theft from a local business and responded to South Road on an ATV complaint. He warned the operator not to drive in the road or in the park.
