Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

Traffic citations
May 20, Benjamin Pendleton, 30, Newcastle, operating after suspension, Hall Street, Newcastle.

June 3, Calvin Crocker, 20, Edgecomb, speeding, 74 mph in a posted 45 mph speed zone, Route 27, Boothbay.

June 5, Neil Parsons Jr., 66, Damariscotta, failure to show proof of insurance, Mills Road, Newcastle.

June 5, Lisa Sharp, 40, Washington, failure to show proof of insurance, Mills Road, Newcastle.

June 7, Casey York, 18, Bath, displaying an expired inspection sticker, Route 27, Dresden.

June 7, Robert Campbell, 29, Trevett, operating failing to use a seatbelt, Route 96, East Boothbay.

June 7, Kevin O'Brien, 71, Bolton, Mass., speeding 58 mph in a posted 40 mph speed zone, Route 27, Boothbay.

Summons
June 3, Dustin J. Weaver, 18, Windsor, criminal mischief, Augusta Road, Jefferson.

June 3, Heather Major, 35, Wiscasset, operating after suspension, Alna Road, Alna.

June 4, Hannah M. Cash, 18, Newcastle, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, Biscay Road, Bremen.

June 4, Tucker J. Lewis, 20, Boothbay, failing to report an accident by quickest means, Pension Ridge Road, Boothbay.

June 6, a 17-year-old male from Boothbay was issued a summons for motor vehicle speeding: 30-plus mph over speed limit, Wiscasset Road, Boothbay.

June 7, Jessica A. Parker, 32, Waldoboro, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, U.S. Route 1, Nobleboro.

Arrests
June 6, Jeffrey Lucas, 38, Augusta, burglary; theft, two counts; operating after suspension, Ridge Road, Augusta.

June 6, Dawn L. Hunt, 32, Augusta, was arrested on two Augusta Superior Court warrants for charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, two counts; violating condition of release and failure to pay fines, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset.

June 7, Trever J. Neilson, 22, Waldoboro, turned himself into the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding Marine Patrol/Warden Service warrant for failure to pay fines. Neilson was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, without incident.

June 7, John E. Call, 45, Jefferson, was arrested on a Lincoln County Sheriff's Office warrant for domestic assault, criminal mischief, and obstructing report of a crime, on Hodgkins Hill Road, Jefferson. Call was also issued summonses for violating condition of release and operating after suspension.

June 9, Aaron J. Witt, 31, Boothbay Harbor, operating under the influence by drugs - one prior, Boothbay Road, Edgecomb.

Accidents
June 3, an accident occurred on Cooper Road in Whitefield involving Steven H. Baker, 59, of Pittston and Ashley L. Dumas, 24, of Whitefield. Baker, who was operating a 1998 John Deere tractor street sweeper, was traveling forward and sweeping the street. Dumas stated all she saw was a big cloud of dust and tried to go around Mr. Baker, however, ended up hitting the street sweeper with her 2003 Ford Focus. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.

On June 3, an accident occurred on Main Street in Whitefield involving Dona Bourassa, 79, of Palermo. Bourassa came out of a business to find her 2003 Ford had been backed into. The operator of the other vehicle got out, apologized and then took off. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.

On June 4, an accident occurred on Clarks Cove Road in South Bristol involving Kenneth B. Flower, 38, of South Bristol. Flower was operating his disabled 2001 Ford F-250 pickup truck eastbound, coasting down a slight hill and was attempting to make it back to his driveway on Clarks Cove Road. When Flower attempted to turn into his driveway, he lost his brakes and struck a tree. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

On June 4, an accident occurred on Pension Ridge Road in Boothbay involving Tucker J. Lewis, 20, of Boothbay. Lewis was operating his 2000 Ford southbound when he stated he fell asleep. As a result, his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On June 6, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Toby M. Hollis, 42, of Bristol. Mr. Hollis was operating his 2010 Ford F-350 pickup truck southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the west side of the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

On June 7, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Joy Ellen Bengtson, 34, of Bath. Bengtson, who was operating her 2009 Honda Civic, was attempting to avoid a turtle in roadway, when her vehicle entered the dirt shoulder on the southbound side of the roadway. Her vehicle then returned to the southbound lane, crossed the center line and entered the northbound dirt shoulder, where it then began to skid sideways and rolled over. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

On June 7, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Jerry D. Hix, 85, of Lisbon Falls. Hix was operating his 2004 Toyota Avalon southbound when he struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.
