Lincoln County Sheriff's Report
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

On May 10, Deputy Chad Gilbert responded to a report of a possible theft in the Newcastle area. The complainant was notified by his bank that his debit card was used to purchase approximately $400 worth of merchandise out of state. Further investigation will follow as leads develop.

The Wiscasset Police Department reports the following activity for the week ending May 16.

Accidents
May 11: Officer Nadean Crossley responded to an accident in the parking lot of Shaw's Supermarket. An individual reported their car was struck while the individual was in the store.
