On March 12 Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline arrested a Wiscasset man for allegedly selling marijuana to a 16-year-old male juvenile.

In a press release issued by Cline, Cline said he received information that Kris Sliker, 57, of Wiscasset was allegedly selling marijuana to juveniles.

Cline began an investigation into the allegations and met with Sliker who allegedly admitted selling one marijuana cigarette, "joint," to a 16 year old male juvenile, the press release states. According to the press release, Sliker allegedly admitted to selling the "joint" for $5, claiming the juvenile was upset over an argument with his father.

Slicker was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated unlawful trafficking in schedule drug (marijuana).

He was booked and Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset and later released after posting a $500 cash bail. Sliker is to have not contact with the juvenile to whom he allegedly sold marijuana.
