Lincoln Academy went with their bread and butter pitcher A.J. Oliver, and he delivered a one hit 11-1 six inning mercy ruling win over Oak Hill in the West Class B Regional semi-finals. Oliver struck out nine, and walked two.

The top seed Eagles will take on second seed Greely for the regional crown June 18 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's College in Standish.

The Eagles batted around in the first inning to take a 5-0 lead. Sawyer Pinkham drew a lead-off walk, Devin Scherer and Oliver (RBI) reached on fielder's choices. Wally Morris hit a two run double and Timmy Farrar cranked a two run homerun over the right/center field fence for his first career homerun.

Pinkham hit a lead-off double in the second, and the Raiders pulled starting pitcher Jake Martin (2B,1K,6R,3H). Pinkham went to third on a passed ball and scored on a sacrifice fly to Scherer. Oliver helped his own cause with a solo homerun to right to give Lincoln a 7-0 lead.

The Eagles rallied for three runs in the bottom of the third to take a 10-0 lead. Pinkham singled, Scherer walked and Oliver singled to load up the bases for an RBI sacrifice fly to Morris, and two run single to Farrar.

The Eagles needed three outs for a fifth inning mercy rule win, but Raiders' designated hitter Braydon Pomerleau delayed the early finish hitting a one-out single. Pinch runner Connor Wilson scored on a throwing error to first.

Lincoln ended the game early in the bottom of the sixth when Oliver was hit by a pitch, advanced when Farrar reached on an error and scored on a Travis Creamer single.

J. Martin took the loss for Oak Hill (2B,3H,1K,6R). Jared Glazier (3I,4H,2K,4R), and Jonah Martin (2I,1K,1HP, 1H,1R) pitched in relief.

Hitting for the Eagles were Farrar with a homerun and single (4RBI), Oliver a homerun and single, Pinkham a double and single. Morris a double, and Creamer a single. Pomerleau had the only hit for the Raiders.
