Emerson Wins Gold in Horseshoes at National Senior Games
Darcy Emerson, 57, of Nobleboro, won gold in the women's horseshoes in the 50 to 59 age division at the National Senior Games held in Saint Paul, Minn. July 3 to 16.

On The Trail in Lincoln County: Marr's Ridge Trail, Whitefield
The four mile Marr's Ridge Trail is located on a 360 acre property in Whitefield owned by Sandy Benne. The property consists of 158 acres of natural forest, 125 acres of managed forest, and a 67 acre homestead.

Medomak 10&11 Baseball All-Stars Win District 2 Tournament, Head to States
Medomak Valley 10&11 Little League baseball all-stars defeated Oceanside 11-1 Saturday night to win the District 2 championship. Oceanside won the first game in the best of three series.

One pitch softball tournament
The Medomak Valley Boosters will be hosting their first annual one pitch softball tournament on Sat., Aug 8. There is a 10 team limit in the double elimination tournament. Waldoboro adult coed softball rules apply during the tournament.
