Medomak Valley Cheerleaders Rock Their Way to KVAC Championships

Medomak Valley cheerleaders won the 2015 KVAC Class B cheering championships on Monday, at the Augusta Civic Center. The title is the Panthers' third in five years. Medomak also won the KVAC crown in 2011 and 2013, and were runners-up to Leavitt in 2012 and runners-up to Gardiner in 2014.

Camden Hills defeated Lincoln Academy girls basketball team 63-58 in overtime Friday night in Newcastle. The Windjammers controlled the boards for a 44-24 advantage, led by 6'2" Rachel Pease with 19 rebounds.

The CLC YMCA Gymnastics Team traveled to Old Town YMCA on Jan. 3. "We had level 2 through 7 and Xcel Platinum compete on Saturday and I was very proud that our gymnasts competed at a high level while supporting each other as teammates," coach Janice Cormier-Hay said.
