Red Cross Babysitters Training Course

If one loves little children and would like to make a little money, then register for the Red Cross Babysitters Training Course being offered through Central Lincoln County Adult Education on Friday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Great Salt Bay School.

Designed for 11-15-year-olds, this course will teach how to have fun with the kids in one's care but stay in control.

In this one-day class, learn how to interview for a babysitting job, choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games, perform first aid, and handle bedtime issues. Learn diapering and feeding techniques, and tips for a safe babysitting experience.

Students should bring a lunch and a snack. However, they should not bring any electronics or phones. An American Red Cross Babysitter Skills certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course. There are a limited number of slots available in the class so register now.

The course cost is $45 if registering on or before May 16 and $50 for all other registrations. Please note that May 24 is a no school/teacher workshop day for AOS 93 students.
