At the Lincoln

Happenings
"Dark." That's what theater folks call a theater when nothing is playing that night. "Dark." Sometimes it's necessary to "go dark," so that the next time the curtain goes up, the lights shine brighter than ever.

Lincoln Theater will be dark for a few days while we continue the roof repairs near our entrance door, and while we get ready to open our next play, "Motherhood Out Loud." The lights will shine brightly for the first time this play is performed in Maine ... which will be something not to be missed.

'Motherhood Out Loud'
LCCT is pleased to present the Maine premiere of "Motherhood Out Loud," opening Friday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. Five actors play multiple roles in a piece written by several contemporary American writers. What Mothers really think - uncensored. Five performances only.

Coming soon
The National Theater Live's "This House" (May 16), The DaPonte String Quartet (May 17), Girls Rising (May 22), Paul McCartney and Wings' "Rockshow" (May 23). Feature films return (May 24), and more ...

Volunteers
Lincoln Theater is seeking volunteers to help out in the office on weekday afternoons. Interested folks are invited to email volunteer Muffy Myles (muffymyles@aol.com) for additional information.

Finally...
Information on all theater events, including the up to date calendar, can be found on the theater's website, http://www.atthelincoln.org or by calling the theater's box office at 563-3424.

The box office is open Tuesday to Friday, 1 to 5 p.m., and one hour before curtain for each show. Please be sure to sign up for our weekly e-blast on Monday when a listing of what is playing for the week at Lincoln Theater is released. To sign up, just send an email to info@atthelincoln.org and never miss a performance at the theater. The Lincoln Theater is located at 2 Theater St., in downtown Damariscotta.
