Fish Chowder Suppers At St. Philip's

St. Philip's Church on Hodge Street in Wiscasset continues to dish up rich, delicious haddock chowder each Monday through Aug. 19.

Also part of the meal will be a salad bar with tossed salad makings - many fresh from local gardens - pasta salad, potato salad, ratatouille, and three-bean salad.

A dessert table of fresh, home-baked cakes, cookies, pies, and Round Top ice cream, as well as a choice of beverage, complete the meal. The charge is $9.50 for adults; $4.75 for children under age 12; and free for children under age 5. How family-friendly is that?

Sittings are being scheduled for every 15 minutes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. To make a reservation or to inquire about the suppers, call St. Philip's office at 882-7814. Leave a message and a call back number, and the reservationist will be in touch.
