Annual Rummage Sale At Bremen Union Church

On one day only, Saturday, July 27, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bremen Union Church, at 533 Waldoboro Rd. (Route 32 between Biscay and Turner Roads) is hosting their annual rummage sale which is the culmination of a year's worth of "spring cleaning," sorting, and surprises.

The sale is held rain or shine, inside the church building in several rooms, with overflow outside under tents. Areas include: furniture, glassware, books, tools, linens, children's and pets, household goods, sports equipment, small appliances, garden supplies, and mystery items.

Most items are un-priced - reasonable offers will not be refused. A bake sale by the good cooks of the church and community of Bremen features pies, breads, cakes, cookies, bars, jams, plants, fresh flowers, and more.

Grilled hot dogs, chips, and beverages will be sold from 10 a.m. to noon.

All proceeds of the sale support the mission and ministry of the church. A minimum of 12 percent of the proceeds are pledged to mission projects locally, nationally and worldwide. Have items to donate? Call 529-2142 and speak with John or Maxine to arrange a drop-off or pickup.
