Great Salt Bay Harvest Fair Oct. 26

The Great Salt Bay Community School will host their annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with proceeds benefiting the 8th grade class trip.

The fair includes a huge silent auction with very generous donations from area businesses, local artists, and crafts people; a full breakfast and lunch menu along with baked goodies; a very scary haunted house run by 8th grade students; kid-friendly game stations run by 8th graders; face painting, pumpkin decorating, and many festive activities for young children.

There will be live music provided by GSB's very own talented fiddle players and throughout the fair there will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

For more than 20 years, 8th graders have gone to Boston for a fun-filled two-day trip that includes a visit to the Science Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, The Holocaust Memorial, Quincy Market, The Public Gardens, an overnight stay at Dexter/Smithfield - a prep school in Brookline, finishing up at Canobie Lake Amusement Park in New Hampshire.

Don't miss this fun fall fair, which starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m. with the silent auction ending at 1:30 p.m.
