Annual Turkey Trot hosted by Lincoln County Spark

On Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 28, join Spark for its second annual Turkey Trot 5K.

This fun run/walk has a $5 participation fee that is 100 percent donated to the local food pantries to help keep them stocked during a tough time of the year for many families.

The event kicks off with registration at The First parking lot, Main Street, in Damariscotta at 7:30 a.m. with the run/walk starting promptly at 8.

After the exhilarating three miles, all participants will be rewarded with donuts, pastries, fruit and coffee. Join them and bring one's family. Make a new tradition of starting this favorite holiday off by doing something good for oneself and for others.
