Healthy Kids 13th Annual Chocolate Fest

Save the date; save the date; and save the date of Feb. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m.

It is that time of year again to step out to help prevent child abuse in Lincoln County. Plan to attend this year's Healthy Kids 13th annual Chocolate Fest event at a new venue, the Lincoln Theater at 2 Theater St., in-town Damariscotta.

As always the Midcoast community has generously responded with numerous exciting silent auction items in addition to live auction items that will be auctioned by John Bottero.

For listening pleasure, this year's event will feature live music by local favorites the Horseshoe Crabs and singer-songwriter Katie Daggett.

Healthy Kids was established in 1985 and is the child abuse and neglect council of Lincoln County. Their mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect and encourage, support and promote healthy family environments.

Chocolate Fest is Healthy Kids largest fundraiser and a community favorite, so mark the calendar now and plan to attend.

Chocolate Fest is proud to be sponsored this year by Bath Savings Institution and H.M. Payson.

Tickets are available at the Maine Coast Book Shop, Lincoln Theater box office and Healthy Kids at 127 Elm St. location. Advance ticket price is $25, with $35 at the door.
