LC Spark Hosts Second SnowBall to Benefit CHIP Inc.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, Lincoln County Spark is hosting their second annual SnowBall and Silent Auction to raise funds and awareness for CHIP, Inc.

This semi-formal event will take place at The 1812 Farm in Bristol Mills and features live music, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar as well a silent auction.

Spark has been receiving great donations to add to the silent auction every week. The evening of fun starts at 7 p.m. with live music and dancing all night.

Tickets are $25 per person if purchased by Feb. 15, with tickets $30 at the door. Purchase tickets at The First in Damariscotta, or online at, search for SnowBall.

CHIP Inc. is a Maine 501(c)(3) organization that began in 1984 as an ecumenical effort to help area residents who do not have sufficient resources or the ability to make basic repairs to their homes. The mission of CHIP Inc. is simply: "Neighbors helping neighbors keep their homes safe, warm, and dry."

Lincoln County Spark is a local networking group for ages 21 to 45. The mission is to connect people to each other and the communities where they live, work and play through social events, healthy activities and community involvement.
