The black comedy "A Farewell To Fools" and the multi-award-winning "Her" are playing this week at The Harbor Theatre.

"A Farewell To Fools," PG13, plays Wednesday and Thursday, March 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and "Her" is rated R, and plays on Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15 at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, March 16 at 3 p.m.

"Farewell To Fools" stars Gerard Depardieu (Academy Award nominee, Golden Globe winner, Emmy nominee) and Harvey Keitel (Academy Award nominee, Golden Globe nominee, Independent Spirit Award winner).

Set during World War II, somewhere in Romania, a German soldier is found dead near a village, and the local authorities must identify the murderer or they will all be shot by Nazis the following morning. There is no way to identify the guilty party, but there is Ipu (Gérard Depardieu), the madman of the village, who the town leaders, led by Father Johanis (Harvey Keitel), pressure to claim responsibility for the soldier's death and die to save their skins.

The darker sides of human nature are revealed in this black comedy and as the deadline approaches, one wonders who, in fact, is the actual "fool"?

In "Her" a man develops a relationship with an intelligent computer operating system with a female voice and personality, a science fantasy romantic comedy-drama written directed and produced by Spike Jonz, marking his solo screenwriting debut.

The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, and Scarlett Johansson as the voice of "Her."
