All Four Feet

$20.12 special on six cats
There are six beautiful that cats came into the shelter in 2012. They have been in residence for all of 2013. The shelter has decided to give the adoptee a special take-forever-home-fee for each cat, that's $20.12 for 2012.

As of this "All Four Feet" two of the six cats have gone home.

Those still waiting are: little girl Stormy, age 2, a gray tiger; handsome Charlie a 9-year-old gray tiger; female Hammy, a 7-year-old tabby; and Patti, at 6 is pastel.

Pictured are Hammy still waiting for a home and Bridy, who went home on Friday. These special ones are all perfect. Please visit the shelter and see for yourself. Sit with them, brush them, talk with them and then take each one home.

Even after Christmas there is still time to adopt one of these 2012 special ones before the New Year rings us into 2014.

There are still many cats and dogs at Lincoln County Animal Shelter waiting patiently for a person of their own. There are so many wonderful stories of adoptions in 2013. However, it seems as one animal goes home, two more come to the shelter to be cared for until the day they, too, will be adopted.

Don't forget to pick up this year's shelter newsletter, PawPrints, now available at the LCAS and at the Humane Society Thrift Shop in Boothbay Harbor.
