Mary Ann Winchenbach
July 12, 1917 - Feb. 3, 2014

Mary Ann Winchenbach, of Waldoboro, passed away at LincolnHealth - Miles Campus in Damariscotta on Feb. 3. She was born in Friendship on July 12, 1917 to Frank and Villa Eugley Morse.

She worked at the button factory in Waldoboro as well as Holmes Canning Factory in Rockland.

She enjoyed playing many instruments, especially the piano and harmonica, and was taught the violin at a young age. She also enjoyed painting and drawing.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Virgil Winchenbach; sisters, Evelyn Knight, Edith Kuzmech, Shirley Van Dine, Una Thornton, and Hannah Flagg; brothers, Howard Morse and Herbert Morse; and grandson, David Turner.

She is survived by older sister, Celia Carlton of Arrowsic; children, Donald Turner and wife Linda of Union, Donna Turner Kelly and husband Dan of Wolfeboro, N.H., Stanley Winchenbach and wife Katie of Waldoboro, and Dana Winchenbach of Waldoboro; grandchildren, Donald Turner and wife Elizabeth, Darren Turner, Ryan, Christopher and Trevor Kelly, Sonya Winchenbach, Joel Winchenbach and girlfriend Heather, and Jason Winchenbach and wife Heather; great-grandchildren, Donald "DJ" Turner Jr., Rebecca Turner, Abby Turner, Christopher Mank, Zachery Mank, Dillon Saunders, Jasmine Winchenbach, Caleb Winchenbach, and Elizabeth Winchenbach; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to join the family for a gathering and memories from 1-5 p.m., Sun., Feb. 16 at the VFW Hall, Mill St., Waldoboro. A committal service will be held in the spring at the Dutch Neck Cemetery in Waldoboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
