Priscilla Antoinette Fogg
Sept. 11, 1939 - Aug. 20, 2014

Priscilla Antoinette Fogg, 74, of Wiscasset, passed away on Aug. 20.

Priscilla was born in Wiscasset on Sept. 11, 1939 the daughter of Warren W. and Helen S. (Bean) Dorr, also of Wiscasset. Priscilla graduated from Wiscasset High School in 1957 and attended Thayer College in Waterville where she earned her certification as a lab technician.

As her children got older, she returned to college in her 30s to attend the University of Maine, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology. She served at numerous local hospitals with her longest tenures at Bath Memorial Hospital and Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Priscilla was an original member of the Wiscasset Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a founding member of the Wiscasset Ambulance Service.

She was a devoted member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wiscasset where she volunteered as bookkeeper, thoroughly enjoyed following their youth sports teams and held a special place in her heart for all their children. Priscilla was a skilled gardener who enjoyed maintaining beautiful gardens, watching birds at her home and sharing her skills with others. She was particularly adept at helping those in need while humbly shying away from accepting credit for her lifelong acts of compassion and kindness.

Priscilla enjoyed travel with her husband David where they visited every state in the continental U.S., plus Alaska, over the course of their 23 years of marriage. Priscilla was a proud and passionate grandmother who was active in the lives of her four grandchildren and was famous for taking them on countless mystery rides, which they still speak about fondly today.

Priscilla was predeceased by her parents; brother, Warren W. Dorr Jr. and wife Gladys.

She is survived by her husband David Fogg; sister, Gert Blagdon and husband John, all of Wiscasset; son, Peter McRae and wife Monique of Wiscasset; daughters Julie (McRae) Crowley and husband Patrick of Brunswick; grandchildren, Matthew McRae of Portland, Heather McRae and her fiancé Trevor Berry of Litchfield, Joel Crowley and wife Stephanie of Windham, and Kathryn Crowley of Brunswick; great-granddaughter, Sweet Hailey Crowley of Windham; numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews; her husband's children, Cathy Holt of Sabattus, Laurie Whitmore of Turner, Kevin Fogg and wife Sandra of Turner, and Dawn Marie Rossignol of Auburn; and his eight grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.

A family graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Sat., Aug. 23 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rumerill Rd., Wiscasset. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m., Sat., Aug. 30 at the Bible Baptist Church, 143 Beechnut Hill Rd., Wiscasset.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice House, 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, ME 04210.

Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
